Three membership tiers to help you break the cycle of self-neglect and nail the “what next”. From shared insights to 1-1 growth plans, find the level that works for you.
Tier 1: The Next Chapter Society
Fortnightly memoir drops, private discussion spaces and honest conversations about the patterns that quietly shape women’s lives.
£19/month
HAVE YOU…Reached a point where your life looks fine on paper, but something underneath no longer feels right?
Maybe you’ve spent years overriding yourself.
Staying too long.
Keeping the peace.
Performing competence.
Drinking to cope.
Deferring to louder voices.
Losing touch with your instincts without even fully noticing it happening.
The Next Chapter Society is a space for women who are beginning to question the script they’ve been living by.
And who want something more honest, more connected and more meaningful than simply carrying on as they are.
-
At the centre of the membership is an unfolding memoir (written by myself) exploring themes such as shame, self-worth, people pleasing, relationships, alcohol, identity, emotional masking and the long process of learning how to trust yourself.
Running through the memoir is the rise of the website Soberistas and everything that was happening privately alongside it - but the deeper themes reach far beyond sobriety alone.
New chapters are released fortnightly as exclusive “drops”, allowing members to follow the story as it unfolds in real time.
Each piece opens up wider conversations around the emotional patterns many women quietly struggle with for years - often without having the language to fully explain them.
Members can discuss the writing privately beneath each drop, sharing reflections, experiences and insights with others navigating similar questions about identity, self-trust and change.
-
The Next Chapter Society is for women who feel emotionally disconnected from themselves in some way - even if life outwardly appears functional.
Women who suspect they have spent years shape-shifting, minimising themselves or living according to expectations that no longer fit.
And women who are drawn to thoughtful, emotionally honest conversations rather than surface-level self-help.
-
Fortnightly memoir-style writing drops
Private member discussion spaces beneath each piece
Access to the full memoir archive as it grows
Reflective prompts, tools and insights connected to the themes emerging from the writing
A thoughtful online community of women asking deeper questions about who they are and how they want to live
Tier 2: The Permission Circle
Live group sessions to help you stop overthinking the same old problems and start writing your own rules.
£39/month
HAVE THINGS GOT TO THE POINT WHERE...You just can’t keep pretending everything’s ticking along as it should be?
Maybe the smiles are getting harder to paint on. Or that decades-old default setting where you bend over backwards to keep everyone happy is making you feel like a doormat?
The Permission Circle draws a line in the sand.
It helps you get the self-neglect and people-pleasing out in the open, using my guidance and the group’s collective energy to help you reclaim your life and move forward.
-
Targeted at self-aware women aged 45+ who are done with slipping into obscurity, The Permission Circle connects you with a collective of women seeking recognition, support – and fresh options.
Join myself & the group every other Sunday for a live Zoom session, when we take the latest insights from The Next Chapter Society and help you turn them into a practical plan.
Guided by decades of personal experience, you’ll leave each session with tools you can use immediately. You’ll discover why your frustrations are valid – and gain the momentum to start tackling them.
-
A clear step up from Tier 1 membership, The Permission Circle offers a supportive, solution-focused space for women who have had enough of the status quo and can’t face another day like the last.
With Lucy steering every group session, it puts an end to wasted hours trying to fool yourself that everything’s OK.
The Permission Circle provides the “jolt” to start changing now.
-
Fortnightly group sessions over Zoom (60 mins), guided by myself.
Confirmation that your issues are valid – and that your future is yours to change.
Insight from myself based on years of experience – plus tools to use today.
Everything included in Tier 1: The Next Chapter Society.
Tier 3: The Key
Direct 1-1 support to stop the rot and map out your next move – with regular sessions to keep you on track.
£59/month
(6-month minimum)
SOME WOMEN CAN...Read an inspirational quote, hit the “reset” button, and off they go – life changed.
Most of us? We need a little more. Call it guided help, professional support or a kick up the backside, but having someone in your corner is what many women need if they really want to build momentum.
The Key is about stopping the decline into nothingness.
With my direct support, you’ll plan for a ‘second act’ you actually want – with quarterly catch-ups to stop bad habits creeping back.
-
The Key is your personal blueprint for change. It starts with a 30-minute session with me to strip away the half-truths and excuses you’ve been using to get by.
We’ll get clear on two things: what do you actually want. And exactly who/what is standing in your way.
Drawing on decades of experience helping women navigate this exact transition, I will give you a practical exit strategy from the future you’re currently facing.
I’ll help you reclaim the person you once enjoyed being – and who others seemed to like, too.
-
The Key is for women who are done with "thinking about it" and are ready to act, but know they struggle to stay the course alone.
If you have a habit of drifting when the initial excitement wears off, this tier provides the high-level accountability you need.
Due to the 1-1 nature of this work, spaces are strictly limited.
-
A 30-minute 1-1 Zoom session with me, to set your goals.
Personalised roadmap with clear mileposts for the next 12 months.
20-minute 1-1 check-ins every 3 months to refine and recalibrate.
All the benefits, insight and group sessions from Tiers 1 & 2.

The Permission Principle is not a support group in the traditional sense, nor is it a course with a fixed curriculum.
The membership is built around the themes explored in my memoir Under the Influence and the questions that emerged from writing it. Topics such as people pleasing, identity, self-trust, relationships, boundaries, ambition, self-worth and the tendency many of us have to hand our power to other people.
Each month, members receive new memoir drops, reflections, discussions and coaching sessions inspired by these themes. Together, we explore where these patterns came from, why they persist, and how they continue to influence our lives today.
While connection and community are important, the real focus is on understanding yourself more deeply, reclaiming your own authority and creating a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are.
-
Everyone arrives with different goals, so there is no single outcome.
Some people gain clarity about a relationship, career or major life decision. Others find themselves becoming more confident, setting healthier boundaries, trusting their instincts more readily or feeling less overwhelmed by the expectations of others.
The aim is not to become a different person. It is to feel more like yourself.
-
Membership is offered on a monthly subscription basis and you are free to cancel at any time.
Many members stay for several months because lasting change rarely happens overnight. The Permission Principle is not a quick fix or a rigid programme to complete. It is an ongoing opportunity to learn, reflect, grow and apply what you discover to your everyday life.
-
Absolutely. Many meaningful friendships have grown out of shared experiences in our communities.
Members are welcome to connect privately if both people are comfortable doing so. As with any online community, we encourage everyone to exercise common sense, respect personal boundaries and only share contact details when they feel ready.
