Permission to live differently.

THE PERMISSION PRINCIPLE™

The Permission Principle helps women step out of patterns that no longer serve them - including alcohol, people-pleasing and the exhaustion of living by everyone else’s expectations - and start building lives that work for them.

Many of the women who I work with are capable, thoughtful and outwardly functioning perfectly well.

From the outside, life looks fine.

But privately there is often a deep feeling of discontent - a sense of emptiness that is difficult to understand.

Perhaps alcohol has become part of coping with that pressure.
A way to switch off, soften the edges, or numb out at the end of a long day.

You may have tried cutting back, moderating, setting rules for yourself.
Sometimes it works for a while. Then the pattern returns.

What many women eventually discover is that alcohol was never the whole story.

Often it was simply one way of managing a life that had slowly drifted away from their own values, needs and priorities.

This is where the Permission Principle begins.

The Permission Principle

The Permission Principle is about learning to live life on your own terms.

Many women have spent decades living by other people’s expectations: as daughters, partners, mothers, professionals. Over time, it’s easy to lose sight of your own voice, priorities and desires.

✔ You want more clarity
✔ More self-trust
✔ More freedom to live differently

You don’t want alcohol quietly shaping your evenings, your health, or the way you feel about yourself.

The Permission Principle is a framework for stepping out of patterns that no longer serve you and reclaiming the freedom to choose differently.

For many women, alcohol has been one way of coping with the pressure of living a life that doesn’t fit. When you begin to realign your life around what truly matters to you, that relationship with alcohol often begins to shift too.

You’re ready to start living life on your own terms.

This work isn’t about staying trapped in a story of being broken.

It’s about stepping outside the patterns that no longer serve you - and building a life that feels better to live in.

If this resonates with you…

Most of the women who arrive here recognise themselves somewhere in the ‘grey area’.

Their lives function.
Nothing looks catastrophic.

Which is exactly why change can take so long.

It’s easy to stay inside what I often describe as The Bubble - the stage where everything still appears manageable and there always seems to be more time to sort things out.

Next week will be different.
Next month I’ll get back on track.

And somehow the years slip by like this.
